This piece was born from a real moment in Berlin’s nightlife: a girl collapsing in a club, her friends reviving her not with concern, but with more drugs. It’s absurd. It’s tragic. And somehow, it worked. That tension lives in the artwork: care that poisons, affection that overwhelms, healing that hurts.

Painted in Danner’s signature naïve style, “Toxic Care” is as playful as it is painful. A grotesque nurse for a generation overdosed on intensity.
