The mosquito needs blood to survive, and today’s unlucky donor is the baby on a cloud. She cries, she bites, she regrets it instantly. Mother Instinct is a bittersweet portrait of sacrifice, guilt, and the impossible task of doing the right thing when everything feels wrong.

Dressed in red heels and existential dread, this mosquito is all of us, trying to care, messing it up, and feeling way too much about it. The piece pokes fun at the emotional absurdity of love, dependence, and the blurry line between nurture and damage.
